I didn't really know what the symbols meant when I joined here. And the FAQ was helpful, but some of them I didn't understand. So I decided to make this for those in the same boat that I was.Don't take anything I mention in the explanations seriously.

This is very helpful for n00bs but a teeny bit out of date. This may be the FAQ that needs updating though, I haven't checked it recently. + doesn't exist any more, they're all just $ now. Alumni are still about, but now if someone leaves core staff they're a senior like the rest of us. Except lolly who has no symbol because he is a legend

Well the = is also given to groups, but since those are hooked up with your account and you can't actually go in chat rooms or post comments as just your group... so they are never mentioned in things such as this. ;A;
