The piece is tagged under mixed media, though I can not exactly tell which ones. The framing which is quite pregnant and takes up some space, should look like some bumpers in plastic, fabric appearance (my interpret.). Of course done in Photoshop, in some by the artist chosen technique. Also there is kind of a subtitle within this framing, on top. I go for just some supportive title, the artist put in while working on the piece.
The inside, main part are skulls, three comic like faces in different shapes coming out of the black background. To me they appear not that scary, more kind of funny and in some ironic context. Even though at the graphically business death´s heads are something like a common symbol, those are put in, in some compact meaning.
Tormented and screaming, this bone-heads are sure in this life as well, just there is some flesh and skin as surface e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="387" title=" (Wink)"/> others know them as 'men'. As this work is a lot abstract too, it leaves plenty of interpretations for the beholder and makes it interesting, maybe makes some deviant stop for even minutes and think about serious things like life and death. Scull as a symbol is very much anchored, in the genetically system of a human body, and that is the great complexity it makes as a portrayal.
Concluding, Mushroombrain´s artwork here shows a vision at something that is shocking and is relaxing also.
