(My AU information) Princess Luna had always been the glass child, due to the ponies love for the day time, as well as Princess Luna having a close resemblance to one of Equestria's older rulers. The ponies believed that The young princess was a sign that their dethroned queen, "Queen Mourning Star"(A Goretober Oc) had sent Luna to finish off what she had started. Due to this superstition and the rumours, the townsfolk turned to Princess Celestia for guidance. As they matured, Luna had grown unhappy with this treatment, and tried different methods to show she could be trusted. She created Bat Pony guards with her own magic in order to protect Canterlot during the night, but the citizens of Canterlot only grew weary of the guards' appearance. After many years of neglect and fear by her citizens, she decided to make her beautiful night sky, eternal.
