Those kids were not just bullies, they were straight up evil. Racism is one thing, they have the right to have their own political views (I don't care what everyone says, racism is a political view), but putting a muzzle on him? How did they even get that? It obviously works the same way handcuffs do in Zootropolis, so how did a group of nine year olds get it?

I would imagine that if they encountered Nick and Judy in the present day while they were at a dining establishment (having a guys night of sorts) they would over hear the conversation between Nick and Judy as they are sitting at an adjacent booth. And that beaver would do a spit take of what ever beverage he is drinking. And they would all peer around the booth wall there mouths agape after asking the questions. "You helped officer Hopps solve the Night Howler case? Your officer Hopps partner? You joined the ZPD? Your her boyfriend? Your in love with a prey?" And Nick would respond: "I told you I could live up to the ranger scout oath. And now I am just on a higher level. What better way to do so than law enforcement." And Nick would savor the looks on their faces as they were eating their words.
