Description
The fascinating face of a forgotten Lycian within the ruins of Myra, Turkey. Lycia was a small democratic based society (in the early days a matriarchal one by some accounts) that assimilated into the Roman Empire during it's reign. It's modern day political equivalent is apparently Switzerland and the US constitution is based on the principles of Lycia.Taken with my Ixus 8.0.
