Personality:
Fireplant is at first glance, an introvert. He's socially awkward, rarely ever speaks first, and doesn't seem to show any form of emotion most of the time. However, he quietly observes everypony around him and is willing to listen to and help anypony should they come to him.

Around close friends however, he is an almost entirely different pony. He becomes a chatterbox and party animal, trying anything to make them happy. However, he can still be quiet and listen to whenever they speak. He cares deeply for each one of them, sometimes to the point of being clingy and very submissive.

He doesn't really do much with his elemental abilities aside from growing crops and the occasional party tricks.

Likes and dislikes:
Fireplant generally enjoys doing good for other ponies, whether helping with personal problems or simply answering questions. Aside from his usual journalism work, he also does some personal projects like stories. He is a huge nerd for things like action figures and sci-fi (which is why he chose that job).

Despite having an interest in animals, he has a phobia of dragons and hates them. He keeps a set of homemade explosives in his room ready at all times in case of one, though they have never actually been tested before.
