A doodle of the most memorable character in my dreams.

People often say I'm a lucid dreamer, or an astral projector, but I'm not sure about any of those things. All I know is that I experience things in my dreams differently than other people. I can feel every touch, taste every fruit and feel every slice of a weapon as a hot sting against my skin. Many times I have woken up thinking I've been mortally wounded, struggled with my own dry-slick blood only for it to disappear moments later.

I'm working on a few character designs and also some transfers from individuals from my dreams to try to make a comic out of, but this person is important to me.

In one dream I found myself before a large, roughly circular hole in the ground of red sands and clay with a spiraling bar going down into it one could walk into. On all sides surrounding the pit, tunnels went deep into the world, guarded by a canine creature that only half existed and seemed to phase between two states of being.

This wanderer was the one who met me there and told me how to get through it, how to survive the canine, and explained to me that he was also a traveler of worlds like I was, though he was doing so for religious reasons. He spoke entirely through the mind, and when I first saw him his head was down, making the top part of his head look like a mask over a human face. He seemed to have striations on his skin like knot-less wood, though he didn't seem to be wooden either. More like a worm in a humanoid veneer.

He's especially important to me because he was the one who ultimately sent me to the place I would first encounter The Shed.
