Finaly got myself to finish this one.I haven't put that much time into it, but it took me for ever to finish it because i'm slacking lately.
But anyway there it is.
I always wanted to do a drawing of airplanes, there is something in aviation that is epic and it's a reflection of human engineering.
the whole time i was drawing this one i was wondering what to call it. i was about to call it death from above, but then when i finished the jets i found it was empty and missing something so i added the clouds, thats where i got the idea of the current title. But overall i'm satisfied of it.

I am stunned to the center of my mind by the details in this. The angles on the aircraft (JAS Gripen, right?) are awesome and the shading is superb!
I love how they kind of burst free from the cloudy frame too! Really powerful work.

oh ya their JAS Gripen, Yeah i didn't want to stick to the background of the picture because it was rather dull. So i came up with my own back ground.

I agree with what you said about "there is something in aviation that is epis and it's a reflection of human engineering"...Since I even saw a show counting down the 20 most greatest inventions of Man, and the plane was ranked at number 1
Great drawing, having them seem to burst right out of the frame looks great, and even other effects such as the clouds are well-drawn

its cool getting a comment like that from you, i found your work today and i love it, haven't gotten around to look at your hole gallery yet.
Yeah the frame effect wasn't there when i first posted this yesterday, but i decided at work today that it would be cooler to add the frame. a frame that is 2 small for the planes, so they stick out from the background and at the same time isolate my clouds. Giving the drawing that layer that creats dept.
