If we compare the war in the Gundam series...( so many characters die on mecha war)
But i guess its because we're not too used to see main characters dying on naruto :\
Seeing Neji die was the same as if we see Abarai or Byakuya dying in bleach. It was a shock...
Bleach i think we lost Ulquiorra, Gin and Kira.... I got really mad over Gin's death
