Last month I may have gone slightly art crazy over the web comic Daughter of the Lilies. Nevertheless, I did not actually intend this to turn into five pages of "Thistle has the same emotional venting mechanism as Elsa." But it happened. By gum, it happened.

A few of the flowers and plants in this are made up, but most of them are real plants. If you look closely you can see lavender, morning glories, Shasta daisies, Chicken of the Woods and cantarelle mushrooms, poorly drawn English Ivy, Bachelor’s Buttons, wild violets, ferns, bromeliads (those are definitely not native to the climate but whatever), dandelions, plantain (the low-growing forest plant, not the banana thing), a water lotus, a few lilypads, a couple sunflowers, two sugar maple trees, and a bloody ton of mostly copy-pasted clover and clover flowers.

Before you go wondering if I shoved a bunch of symbolism or whatever in there by what types of flowers and junk... these were literally just chosen because I know what they look like.

Also, it's actually reasonable in this case for a fawn, frog, and bird to be out, because the scene where she gets chased out of town by a stone-throwing mob happens at dusk. Disney princess shenanigans are officially at a minimum. (I'd love to say I plan these things ahead that well, but I realized this after I was finished. Well, you live in Iowa all your life, you kinda know these things...)
