This is the second piece of my Dads and Daughters series, which depicts a black father and his daughter having a fancy high tea lunch in the late 19th century. I love how this print turned out, with all the details and colors that make it vibrant and realistic. You can see the joy and love in their faces as they enjoy each other's company. I also wanted to capture some of the social and cultural elements of that era, such as the elegant clothing, and the beautiful flowers.
