One of the villains in mine and a couple of friend's 12 year long story, though he's more freshly developed.

X is a complicated soul. He has no recollection of his childhood and ultimately, doesn't really know what he wants in his life. So, he's guessing: Consuming souls to gain power and to see where it leads him. Along the way, he has developed a belief system of overcoming Death, Time, and The Balance, three uncontrollables in our story. His word has resonated with quite a few other Creators and he forms a small posse...And then eventually a mortal cult in a particular fox's universe.
