Description I've been dying to do a Baba Yaga piece for some time, and thought I would start with pencil.

Like all folklore, there are so many faces and facets to this character - the kind, wise, evil, chaotic, more godlike, more human.. I went with a more strange-fiction/weirdtales pulp spin, with a slight tough of retrofuturism for this one.
