Another piece I did for my dad. This time for his newsletter. He always mentions his fictitious author Andy Zach's phoenixes picking out the name of the winner they get the book for each drawing. So I decided to do a picture that for his newsletter.I think my favorite part of this manipulation is the phoenix tail which you can't really see all of it but it's a molten flow of some kind. That just made it interesting.
