Description
-I drew my niece’s Pinkie Pie toy (McDonald’s version) to better understand the size, shape, and dimensions of the character. The middle and right drawings are drawn based directly from the toy, with an attempt to go off-model; unfortunately not to my expectations.

I’ve read from the blog of cartoonist John K. about how drawing cartoon toys give a better sense of dimension when drawing cartoon characters. The real challenge is applying that ‘sense’ to the characters themselves when given free reign to draw the characters as you see fit.
