Well i guess her reason for wanting Shadow now is that Sonic doesent seem to care for her most of the time and she feels neglected and lonely. Further more Shadow was the only one that actually wanted to be around her at the moment.
BUT ON THE OTHER HAND!
Shadow could have just planned this by himself all along to make the facker (Sonic) realize he likes Amy.
