They ARE expendable in the eyes of all trolls and Gumm-Gumms and no one can tell me otherwise.
I firmly believe that they learn from a young age that if you want to survive you have to be as inhumanly useful as you can, or otherwise you’ll go kaput. You can’t trust anyone because you aren’t anything to anyone, not even to other Changelings. This is proved when Strickler quite calmly encourages Bular to dispose of her.
But given a chance these two would be the only real comfort the other one has, and I don’t mean this in a romantic way, but in a purely “No one can understand the hell I went/ am going trough”. Even if they hated each other and whatnot. Same terrible childhood, same image issues (because come on guys you look terrible to both Trolls and Gumm-Gumms alike, I’m sure they all hate their bodies), same strange lives of living amongst humans. It gives me so many feels.
They’re just fucking tired of it all. Someone let them rest.
Don’t really like how my markers turned out on the scanner this time /: the color doesn’t look very nice.
Btw, have you notice they have the exact same eye color? Or is it just me? Do most Changelings have green eyes? I just want to find theories people…
