Double Edit: What a coincidence that I get blocked right after I showed a certain someone this stamp because of their overuse of the block feature. IRONY?
BUT SERIOUSLY.
I've seen so many people block others for completely bullshit reasons, like they claimed that they were trolls/spammers, when really they just had a different opinion. Or they would comment on someone else's profile/art, then immediately block them because they didn't want a reply or some shit.
And I can see how it'd be very irritating to have someone block you, but continuously comment/view/stalk on your profile. :/
The block feature is NOT something you should use to hide from others' arguments or opinions.
So don't be a butthurt pussy. c:

I agree, just so long as you realize that there is a good reason to block someone who has been told to leave you alone and just keeps insulting you (yourself, not so much your art) until your inbox is full of their shit.

Very recently I got blocked by someone for commenting on a piece of their 'art' (which was actually a used lineart) and telling them it would be wise to mention it's not their lineart. I could tell she was getting irritated and she finally replied saying that just because I, quote "just because you're trying to make me change my design doesn't mean I should." WTF. I never even said that. And before I could defend myself she hid my comments, and blocked me.
Little wimp ass. Oh and she also didn't mention she used a lineart. LOL

I got blocked for just simply devwatching someone, I don't fave or comment on things, Its a rare thing for me to comment, (hardly any time) but seriously a simple Devwatch isn't a federal bleedin' crime against humanity.

I definitely support this stamp - I think some people definitely treat the block tool as a means of "getting the last word in" so to speak, which is totally petty and childish.
but I mean, I support the use of the block tool when people actually get trolled, spammed or harassed (as in, random users coming to your page and spamming obscene shit in your comments because you wronged their friend or something). I think everybody has had their fair share of that in one degree or another.

I think the only reason anyone should block anyone else is if theres something really wrong. I've blocked a couple people because they creeped me the fuck out and once sent creepy notes and EWWWWWWW.
But otherwise yeah, theres not much need at all to block and the people that block just for stupid reasons.

If you are being harassed or spammed in a serious manner, that's when the block feature would be necessary. That's what it was made for. xD
But lately a lot of people have been using it to get the last word in an argument, or because they can't handle constructional criticism. So a lot of frustration arises from this. :/

I block people who harass or troll me, or bot accounts that add me just for pageviews or w/e. That's probably it. I'd never block someone merely because they disagreed with me.
