...Okay, I just wanted an excuse to draw some cute turtles being carried by their daddy.
And their poses are directly based on how some cats react to being picked up. 
I’ve always imagined Mikey being the clingiest of the turtles as kids, and not afraid to show his affection in his own special way. Ouch…
At first, I was thinking that Donnie probably would be a little disapproving to being carried. Well, perhaps in the very beginning, but I think that a 3-5 yearold-ish Donnie would be pretty okay with being picked up. Just not very interested in his dad, and more fascinated by the new perspective. 
You’d think that Leo would look more comfortable in the arms of his father, but I think that Leo looks up to Splinter too much as a sensei to be completely relaxed in this position. Splinter on the other hand enjoys carrying Leo. 
Raph looks traumatized…
But of course, these are just my interpretations.

I love those faces in the babies, thay are so adorable... I thought Leo and Donnie would have the same expression, but it's chevere to see the reaction in Donnie, it's so funny. Imagine like:
-With Mikey his dad has to control Mikey's hands, just a little bit...
-With Donnie, he has to care his baby's movements...or he can fall to the ground
-Wit Leo it's ok, there's nothing to care about... maybe.
-And with Raph:"I refuse to be carried... for the rest of my life..."

My little guy used to be like Raph but now it's Donnie. He reaches for everything and loves to climb all over Mommy and Daddy.

Yeah, I think Splinter seems to enjoy and seems more able to hold Leo much more than the others, though I don't think Leo knows how to interact or respond to being held (which makes me wonder how he would react by being hugged by their father... Probably be like Raph or just do nothing like he is in Splinter's arms)... I wonder who would be the first to speak and what their first word would be?... To me, I think Mikey or Don would be the first to talk and Leo would be the last to speak.
Anyway, can't wait to see more! ^^

I'd say Leo would be the last to speak, because it would most likely explain to how and why he's better at stealth than his brothers... Although, I think he would be the least to talk because he could probably be shy when he was a turtle tot, or for some reason is unknowingly following one of the old saying "Children should be seen and not heard" (never really liked that quote, honestly)...
