This journal is called the "Mechanic's Journal". It is inspired by the steampunk era and incorporates several techniques to achieve this antique look. It is a sturdy book that could belong to an old mechanic, and host the development of his designs and steampunk machines.

The covers have many layers of ephemera, paints and mediums to achieve this worn and used look. The front cover is decorated with several wooden and metal cogs and pieces. It's bookmark is a combination of chain of different strenghts, from where a charm and a key are hanged saying "simplify life". The last layer is a crackle layer and defines the book as "old" and "well used"
