Description
Traverse Town from Kingdom Hearts.This was done as a submission for - and since I've been asked this more than once already, let me state now that this is NOT a retouched screencap or otherwise built off the game model. It's just a whole bunch of time, digital paint, and little else special to mention
The theme was "Worlds" in Kingdom Hearts - and I knew right then I had to paint the cafe' in Traverse Town. (Though I hope you'll forgive the creative embellishments) It's such a beautiful stage, and I remember when I first entered it thinking I would love to live in that little room above the tea shop.
Yuffie is one of my all-time favorite characters, so I had to include her (and a tribute to her French fansite) in the picture. But it doesn't seem right for anyone to be without a friend, so I added her little buddy Leon in there too
My painting style is a bit odd in that it actually looks better the closer you get to it
So I've added some details from the image. Hope you enjoy!
