I played Wind waker. I called it The Wind Waker cause I just looked up Toon Link. I didn't play the DS ones, so, I just made it as Toon Link being the Wind Waker, thats all. It's just artwork for Toon link, not Wind Waker.
I guess I'll change it then cause of misconception. D:

Well... The thing is that the toon link from Spirit Tracks is like a toon link from a hundred years after Phantom Hourglass (that is direct sequel to wind waker)... So they aren't really the same...

Well you don't lose so much... Like PH and ST are good... But... Anyone who playied Wind Waker will miss the freedom of WW when playing PH... And well the Spirit Flute is a pain in the ass to play if you aren't good at playing some kind of similar instrument in real life...

Wind Waker is my favourite game ever, and even though some people hate on it's cel-shaded graphics and the whole travelling takes too long thing, I love it.

It's because most people probably don't know that there is at least one island for "square" so the long travel thing made the game better as there is so much to find... ^^
The cel-shading thing is because most people are too childish to know a game is more than graphics... (If it wasn't the Wii wouldn't have beaten the 360 and the PS3 together...)

Yeah, some years ago a friend of mine asked about the DSi XL as she wanted to buy one for her little brother... I explained the pros and cons of it, and the worst that was that it didn't have a Slot-2 to play GBA... She just said, no problem, my 5 year old brothers doesn't know what a GBA is... I was like, WTF? GBA was so awesome it's like SNES portable, and the new kids don't know shit about classic games... And returning to the cell-shading, the problem was that the start they used it only for games with toon style, but nowadays there's no such a thing as cell-shading being childish as there are games with a realistic graphic style that uses cell-shading... I think Okami started to change the people's mind about cell-shading, as Okami is like you playing with an old painting...

Yeah, but Wind Waker was REALLY popular at the time, too.
I wish more games use cel-shaded graphics. All the new games on PS3 all try to be realistic, but it gets boring. I had Killzone 3 and Gran Turismo 5. They put so much development time into making it have good graphics, that it became such a boring game cause theres only a few modes you can do to have fun. :/
