Apparently it's not bad enough that I slash my own country's history; I seem to have to mess with other histories as well. So here I have some Robespierre/Saint-Just from the French Revolution. Much love for this pair of revolutionaries and Robespierre in particular...even if he was responsible for a lot of deaths during the French Revolution.After about a month of being interested in that time period, I'm so glad I finally drew a pic for this pairing (which is fastly becoming an OTP). Well, there ya have it. Not bad, not great, and hopefully Saint-Just will look better in the next pic I draw. He looks kinda like he fainted in this one. >.<
Oh yeah, funny/horrible side story: In the original version I mixed up the red and blue on the flag, and by the time I realized it, it was way too late to fix it. Anal retentive creature that I am though, I traced the whole drawing over on a new sheet of paper and re-did it. o__O
Medium: 0.7 mm mechanical pencil, 01 Micron pen, and some colored pencil.

I'm sure Maxime is creative enough to think up SOMETHING himself. However, if it's anything like his speeches, it may go on too long.
She just doesn't like things that have free access everywhere and shed. So I'm stuck with my tarantula until I move out.

I actually saw this drawing first on LJ, less than five minutes ago, to be precise. Lacecravat makes some lovely icon/bases at historicons, so I had to check out her journal. I just finished The Scarlet Pimpernel as well, so the timing is... interesting.
