Heh, well. This piece came from several ongoing jokes with my roomate about her always wanting to ride on animals backs, she's always saying how she wants a bear and wants to ride on it, and one about her being a snail. So after discussing how several people have commented on how I look elven (i dunno, they said it on their own!) I said that if she was a fantasy creature she'd be a pixie. And then came to the conclusion that she'd ride on a snail (bears would be too big).And so we have the Queen of Snails!
she didn't know i was drawing it and i sent her a close up shot of herself before i went to sleep, along with the message "OMGZ PICTURE I'LL PROBABLY BE SLEEPING WHEN YOU GET THIS" and I was sleeping when she got it xD but she says its the cutest picture ever and that i'm "Atrayzin" as she likes to say. And so this came out, took me...ummmm....fivish hours? maybe a bit more
i'm getting better at drawing quickly, and i like the sketchy feel of this picture.Done in Opencanvas, with some touchups in photoshop
