I think I saw ONLY the 1st episode... the animation isn't that great
like: 3D combined with cartoon emotions when their eyes change and stuff?
like: aren't ALL the stories the same in the eighties and 2003 about alien dudes living in robot suits?

I dunno. I REALLY like the new animation. It's just brilliant. Don't get me wrong, I love all the other versions too. I LOVE the "Anime" moments with there eyes. LOL
No all the stories are the same. They may use the same characters in all versions, but the story are defiantly not the same.
You should watch it and give them a try.
