Description
"White Cat"

So when I first visited the art studio I was originally looking for a job,
and without going into too many details I was sent home with suggestions
to do some portraits. o,o
(probably because she saw so many wolves she wanted to see if I actually could do other things lol.)
She wanted a Black Cat, a White Cat, and a Black and White Cat. And two celebrity portraits.

I treated this as a test of some sorts, a mission. I was all: >:/ "Yeah. I GOT THIS BRO."

For the white cat I chose the Angora, to be the long haired of the trio,
the face was the only thing referenced in this drawing. O__o

The fur around the body WAS HARD for whatever reason, and took a uber long time.
I am already light handed and so when doing already light colored things I do them 10 times lighter
than they should be. x.x So I went over this about 10 times trying to darken it.
The art teacher still said I probably should have darkened it more. XD I figured, and seeing it scanned
its SO obvious that I really should have. Buuut oh well, it is what it is and shall stay as a reminder.
For this image I am most broud of the 'depth' ? is the only way I can explain it, the detail of the fur too.
Took me a long time so hahaha!

The shadows around the Image is caused by the paper being too big for my scanner. XD

Done with graphite pencils of varying hardness, prismacolor black pencil, and 11in x 14in Bristol board paper.
