Originally, The Prom Queen's method of operation was unlike any supervillain you know of. She wasn't into world domination or conquest, having massive amounts of wealth or power, getting or selling nuclear or government secrets, she was actually into something more diabolical, the original Prom Queen ruined the lives of potential stars in Hollywood by disfiguring their faces with acid. Here's why...

On the night of her senior prom, sixteen year old Cynthia Benson heiress to a fortune made by her parents who were both actors and her grandfather a legendary Hollywood director and producer was heading to her high school with her boyfriend who were both named king and queen of the prom were involved in a tragic car accident caused by a pair of Hollywood starlets who were both to drunk to drive.

The crash instantly killed Cynthia's boyfriend and she was scratched and scarred from head to toe from broken glass as the car's windshield and passenger side door shattered
into a million pieces.

After she was hospitalized and after several surgeries, she remained scarred for life. While hospitalized, Cynthia learned that the driver and passenger of the other car walked away from the accident without so much as a scratch in spite of the fact they were both arrested for DUI, leaving the scene of an accident and vehicular homocide.

Once she was released from the hospital, Cynthia bought another prom dress, altered it and started to call herself The Prom Queen. As The Prom Queen, her reign of terror was lengthy as she was responsible for ruining young girls' lives by the score.

At the same time, Fashion Girl became the toast of Atlanta and quickly became the darling of America as she was invited to the White House to meet the President of the United States, she hit the talk show circuits in New York and Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles, she read about one of the Prom Queen's exploits in the newspaper and was furious by what she read.

The Prom Queen also read about one of Fashion Girl's exploits in the paper as well but she was impressed but concerned that the new heroine could ruin her plans to disfigure every young girl who had any type of talent in Hollywood.

While doing a talk show in LA, Fashion Girl was kidnapped by two of the Prom Queen's thugs and took her to her secret hideout in the mountains. Once awaken Fashion Girl was taken to the Prom Queen and was offered a chance to serve her purposes sparing Fashion Girl disfigurement since The Prom Queen realized that Fashion Girl wasn't a model or an actress.

Fashion Girl wanted no part of The Prom Queen's offer and brought her to justice. About a year later, Fashion Girl acquired three assistants who called themselves The Style Chicks and were all named for department stores. The Prom Queen at the same time made a daring break from prison and with whatever financial resource she had left, attempted to cross the country to get to Atlanta to deal with Fashion Girl.

Once Fashion Girl learned she had escaped, her assistants, Tiffany, Penney Dillard and Victoria got a crash course in who the Prom Queen is and the threat she represented. Penney Dillard still amassing her magical powers and abilities flew out west to stop The Prom Queen from getting to Atlanta by magically siphoning gas and causing tires to blowout.

Fashion Girl and the Style Chicks intercepted the Prom Queen in Dallas Texas and brought the evil woman to justice once again and this time it was for good, or so Fashion Girl thought. She had one more encounter with The Prom Queen while trying to enter The Justice League only she fought a life like holographic image of her and defeated her.

Relatives of the young girls whom The Prom Queen disfigured discovered who she was and had her killed while behind bars. Now many years later, Cynthia Benson's younger sister Samantha Benson O'Brien left behind her life as a wife and mother and assumed her deceased sister's identity as the New Prom Queen at the same time Daphne Elizabeth Jones learned of her mother's heritage and became The New Fashion Girl.

This time, The Prom Queen will do anything to meet the daughter of the woman who was responsible for her sister's demise. For revenge and avenging her sister's death is all this evil woman is interested in, however unlike her sister, she will obtain government secrets, wealth, power or any other means to accomplish her main goal.
