“Nothing new’s been happening in the lab, just the same old repairing the Cyberlock business,” Echo explained as she brushed the strip of fur running down Agni’s back, “Dad thinks he’s found some part that could replace the most severely damaged pieces. But he’ll need to built replicas of the originals to test before he can proceed.”

“Sounds fun,” Agni replied.

“Well it is very old delicate technology we’re working with, and the construction of New Kaon did delay Dad’s research for a time-“

“Not to mention having you,” the female predacon smirked.

Echo played a laughing audience recording in response.

“Very funny,” Echo said, “but yeah it’s been a rough couple of months of development,”

“Looks like things finally looking up them,”

“Yeah, anyways how things been with you lately?”

“Not bad actually,” Agni answered simply, “Hunting seasons been good to us, and surprise, surprise my parents are giving each other another chance.... again.”

“That’s nice of them,” Echo replied, she was aware of the complicated relationship Predaking and Steeljaw had with one another.

Agni shrugged her shoulders in response, “I suppose,”

“Anyways.... how are Blue Flame, Nightfall, Jasper, Sulphur and Silver doing?” Echo asked in an attempt to change the subject.

“Hmm, oh yeah they’re doing great. Blue flame recently started training a new apprentice, a harpy like predacon male who transforms into a griffin, Nightfall’s still a massive jackass, Jasper might be moving to New Kaon soon to persue his blacksmith career, Sulphur started dating that water Predacon, Iris I think his name is and Silver recently left to join the circus.”

“Sounds like you’ve got quite a lot going on in your life now huh!” Echo exclaimed.

“Indeed, though I’d refer to it as an average Thursday really,” Agni said. “How’s Soundwave and Shockwave been?”

“They’re pretty good! Dad’s not been up to much apart from the Cyberlock experiments and Mom’s been watching over Opt-I mean Orion Pax for a while, orders from Emperor Megatron,” Echo’s voice recording glitched as she stumbled over her words.

“You know you don’t have to call him that when he’s not around right? Agni asked raising a brow.

“I know that, force of habit,” the one-eyed femme explained. Her bio lights glowed a little brighter, an indication that she was blushing.

“Nah it’s alright, I won’t hold it against you,” Agni chucked, “so how was Halloween?”

“It was a lot of fun! There were a lot of games to play, the costumes were so interesting and unique and everyone was so nice!” Echo gushed as she continued to explain the eventful night she had.

A small smile appeared on Agni’s face, she was happy her Aunt was doing so well. Especially after the rough few earthen years she had to endure. She knew Echo would be fine and that she could take care of herself.

Agni chuckled, “Sounds like you had a fun night of partying and made a lot of new friends.” She said bluntly.

“Yeah, It was pretty amazing,” Echo answered. Displaying a smiley face on her screen.
