This took me forever haha ^^' Im so glad its finally done.
I did this for the Sess/Kag autumn contest. The fall can symbolise the fall of Kagomes tears for a number of reasons. You could think of it as her moving on from Inuyasha and embracing the cold winter that is Sesshoumaru. I wouldn't think of Sesshy to be the type to express his feelings, which is why his pose is both welcoming and aloof at the same time.
