Asteria: The Mystic Wind & Hanina

Being a genie doesn't make your teenage years any less awkward. You may not have to worry about homework or acne, but messing up a magic spell can be a lot harder to deal with. At least you'll still have Mom to help fix your mistakes for a few more years.

Asteria is Greek and Hanina is of Mixed European descent.
Asteria is 3,439 years old and Hanina is 15.

I don't usually do dialog for this series, but in this scene I like to imagine Asteria saying something along the lines of:
"I don't care that I can fix it with a snap of my fingers. That's not the point! You have less than three years until you're on your own Hanina. You can't keep making these kinds of amateurish mistakes!"

Bonus Lore: Beyond the ability to turn into mist, genies are not born with the ability to use their powers. Until age four, they cannot initiate this transformation on their own. Instead their mothers have to initiate it for them.
Their powers do not begin to manifest until age six. At age fourteen they must help their mothers serve their masters. While they cannot grant wishes yet they have to obey every command their mother's master gives them (with certain exceptions).
As soon as they turn eighteen a new bottle will materialize and they will be drawn into it. The bottle will then teleport away from their mother's bottle. From that point on, the young genie will have to grant the wishes of whomever possesses her bottle.
