This tutorial is like... hardcore for BEGINNERS.Hi everyone! WoOoO~, it's been a long week. Finally I've got =Yokou-chan 's commission done.
Yes, this is it... a basic and general tutorial on how I draw faces... I swear I'll never do another commission like this again.
The reason why I got stuck doing this is sort of a long story anyway. 
Anyway, I'm proud that I got it finished... finally. XD; I in no way, consider myself to be a professional. XD If it weren't for the commission, I wouldn't do something like this. This is the first tutorial I've ever done in my life, and I have no idea whether it's good or not. =-___-=; As far as I know, I suck at explaining things. Tips on how to improve my tutorial(s) will be appreciated.

Everyone says start out with a circle or an oval. I can't do that. D;

Try using short soft strokes to form your circle. =TwT= It works better than trying to form an oval or a circle as a one shot stroke.

XDD; I draw on my computer when I'm lazy (or feeling adventurous so I could erase a million times
And even on the computer, I noticed that I tend to use the same erasing method to clean up. =*w*-=;;; It's just so embedded in my mind. XD;

And thank you for your compliments, though I'm not that good. XD; I erase a lot. Lots and lots! I wish I could draw like those people who straight out create masterpieces.
=TwT= And yeah, it takes a while to get used to your graphics tablet (wait, you have one, right?). You should try it in different positions. Like try drawing with the tablet on your lap, or in front of you, or where your mouse usually is.
Also, you can download trials for Photoshop or OpenCanvas. :'D Wouldn't hurt to try them out, no?

Sadly I don't have a tablet for now, but I WILL get one! One day...I first have to get really good at drawing on the computer...x____X;; if you look at my gallery and look at the latest picture, thats done on the computer!!! And its my first ever picture on the computer that is fully done! It took me 7 hours! I wanna get a tablet really badly! It will cost form $20-$200!:3 Can't wait to get it!!!
So you can get a free trial with PhotoShop?;3 I can only get PhotoShop if I PERFECT my art skills on the computer. TTnTT Must get perfect. Feh...How long are the free tirals?o.O
