Description The final one among the others. Regarding Zer0 was the original inspiration to my first sona, Claptrap is another favorite from Borderlands I YEARNED in making the final "split-self" out of.
Thankfully, unlike the others, this sketch was more "simple" in making. Since he's nothing but a box on a wheel. Yet the details when making him was the small bumps. But I am glad he's done overall so I may move on to the next pieces I need to finish soon. Y'all will see soon-enough, I can assure that.

*Unit #: 180
*Story: 180, like the other claptrap units, was made for the devoted servitude of the Hyperion Corporation. Initially another cleaning unit to sanitize, sweep up, and make sure the vicinity of everything that is Hyperion is tidy. 180 didn't have any rebuttal or refute to the constant abuse the company has to him or his entire line-up. His programing was wired to only focus on his intentions, and only that. But when the invasion of Colonel Zarpedon transpired, the appearances of Eridium started to show up around the Hyperion Stations. 180 soon stumbled upon some when performing his usual routine. The exposure of the mineral created a mutation for the unit that only birthed him to start thinking outside of his programing; almost like a human. Able to also feel emotions of all varieties. 180 was shocked, afraid and panicked. But he soon felt at ease with the change of free will. Finally can have control over things than what he's used to and treated daily. However, when understanding that John/Jack and his Vault Hunters were fighting back against Zarpedon for Elpis, and how other robotic units were sacrificed and destroyed to make the struggle progressive, like Felicity, 180 had to take action for his safety and survival. He began forging a backup unit and have it installed in his drivers. That way when things go south, as how he feared it to be, he'll be ready. And to be expected, it did come into play. After "Handsome Jack" acquired the "Keys to Hyperion", he initiated in destroying the entire claptrap-line. Resulting in 180 dying with the others too. But once his body was disposed with the others on Pandora, 180's backup booted up and was online. Though the origin of it came to a toy vending machine back on the Moon Station. The machine was where the unit hid his "second life", just for emergencies. Controlling the vendor, 180 severed its arm-claw and made a mission to venture to Pandora to find his hallowed-shell of a body. And when coming up to it, 180 immediately possessed it by merging the claw with the claptrap bot. But it was too damaged to continue functioning. So 180 now focused on finding salvaged pieces to remodel himself anew again. Afterwards, he started to feel anger bubble-in. Seeing his entire line just be discarded like trash, and be belittled to an arm on the brink of survival, 180 cannot refrain. But he doesn't wanna deform into just anger from this, so he stays level-headed and understanding. But still attains a nasty attitude at times.

Ohkay. So right here I basically integrated this guy like an "original character" in the world of Borderlands. However this is merrily the background story that I felt best describes why this claptrap is the embodiment of my passive-aggressiveness, and I will keep him that way only. Plus, I wanted to make it intriguing and "literal" regarding he has half of his body severed, patched up, and replaced with a recycling bin. Well, "literal" in the logic of Borderlands, that is.

Enjoy though, y'all!
