The brush and intensity of the background colors, particularly around the lamp area, have provided a sense of warmth and glow amidst the fieriness of the cold room. The variance and unidirectionality of the lighting of the wall on the left area provide a sense of hominess. Nevertheless, the foreground person looks out of place, rather, the method of emphasis seemed as if "she awkwardly doesn't really belong in the picture". Whereas the background details were in harmony with each other, the girl seems to me, doesn't go well with her own background.
