Here I go again with another portrait of Johnny...I love this picture of him so much, and I had much fun drawing it.Hope you like it, and if you don't, thank's for looking anyway!

Well I don't use a grid, but I measure the reference picture. Then I draw a basic scketch (just with proportions), and start working on the resemblance while I start shading.
I'm so impatient that if a drawing takes me a lot of time, I lose interests...I have to fix that because some drawings would be much better if I had worked more time on them...

I don't use a grid either. I do guesswork, which saves time on the initial sketch but can lead to disaster since it's never completely accurate to begin with. My work got so much better when I spent more time on them. It's amazing when you spend time on them and they turn out two to three times better. My old ones are like sketches now.

AWESOME!!! I want to be able to draw like that... I don't have the patience anymore... not that I had the ability when I did try my hand at it but yea...
I adore the eyes... The shirt is done wonderfully, but the eyes are so.. I don't know, but I love them.
