Description
Gerard Way leading singer of the band My Chemical RomanceDedicated to who told me to draw him! Hope you like it!
I'm 70% satisfied with it...don't know exactly why...he's quite hard to draw (specially his blonde hair!!!)

Personally, I think you did the blond hair very well! Especially against the black background, which - I have to ask - how ever did you make it so ... well, black?

tThe black background, well, I made with layers of pencil, using 3B, 4B and 5B until I got it as black as I wanted, with patience
And I know it works better if you do the background drawing small circles instead of strokes, so it would look more uniform, and you wouldn't see the direction of the pencil strokes in the final picture. Don't know if I explained myself fine...

It looks awesome! I know, Gerard is kinda hard to draw, idk exactly why. I'm working on a sketch of him right now, and god, it takes long time. Anyhow u did a great job!

It looks freaking awesome, you did an amazing job at drawing Gerard. Hes extremely hard to draw and you managed to pull it off very well. You did a great job at his hair, WAY better than mine
I should probably start drawing Gerard right now, I'm having a hard decision on which picture to draw. Its either this one [link] or this one [link] I'll most likely end up drawing both, but I don't know which to draw first. Any suggestions?

Even though I don't know him, he looks brilliant on this drawing... the blonde hair is very difficult, but you did it so well! Especially by matching it with black background, it adds to it!

Blond hair ccontrast with black background makes him glow. Was that your intention? This looks very good!

Well, at first it wasn't my intention, but as I drew it I liked it, so I just let it have that glow effect.
