This is really nice, and so well drawn and cute to look at; but I've got to know: What's it mean? Everyone's talking about how clever and deep it is, and I don't know what they mean. I'm not saying I don't think there's a deep meaning to this; I'm just failing to see it.
Please don't let my ignorance reflect poorly on my liking this piece. It's wonderful and a joy to look at . . . But please explain it to me.

The poisonous mushroom painted itself white so appear 'normal' or 'good', much like people do when they pretend to be something they're not to attract someone only for that person to be deceived in the end of it.
