Standing still on the edge of Surrealism.watching the paint wash off into the big hole while
the color fading away at the end of the day.
Standing still against life's Surrealism.
keeping intact infront the craziness of this world and
trying not to get hurt by the paint and by the brush.
Trying not to get hurt by Life...
Standing still, Alone, on the edge of Surrealism.

So chilled out I can't help but feel grateful you submitted it.
Northern Laos (or at least the 100kms I travelled from Muang Phu Khoun to Luang Prabang, today) is in slash and burn season - the lush mountain forrests I was expecting are now a smouldering ruin, the sky a suffocating smog.

Slash and burning they call it. It's supposed to return nitrates to the soil from the vegitation. Probably one of the least ecologically friendly farming methods you'll ever see. There is plenty of primary forrest here (apparently) but the inhabitants don't seem to appreciate it - litter and waste goes straight into the bushes or the river =/
On the up side there is only 6 million of them in the whole contry. Great culture too.
