The Nubian breed is typically kept for milk, extra boys are either drowned/eaten at birth or kept a bit longer--sometimes as long as 2 or 3 years, sometimes as little as 3 or 4 months. The younger ones are in high demand for a number of different celebrations in several cultures. These are probably no older than a month. And extremely cute.
