Exhausted deputy Smokestone often goes out to meet her own little secret- beautiful loner Autumn, who likes to entice the deputy into... cuddling out on the edges of the Twolegplace, and watch the sunset bleed into night. After moons of these meetings in secret, Autumn is already well aware of one of Smokestone's tightly-kept secrets- star-dripped dreams of cats she's never seen before, calling her leader of a clan she doesn't recognize. Smokestone is terrified that this is Starclan, speaking to her about some sort of sign... Autumn believes their cuddle buddy needs to let go of some stressors, and spend some time away from that tight grip of the clans....

hi~! this is... entirely self indulgent, ehe.
i recently got Autumn [they/them] from loafpaw on twitter! and the moment i saw them, i was like "oh, you are so pretty i have to do something with you." i don't talk about it much on any platform, but i've actually had a WC story for... ever! since i got into the fandom, since that's how i interact with franchises anyways.
introducing Black Feathers!
like it's said, Smokestone [she/they] is deputy, but she's very young and very stressed, so she sneaks out and runs around the edges of the territories. she never means to stray too far away, but she began running into a pretty little loner out on the edges who really just refused to be scared of her. the two keep meeting, smoke almost looking forward to their meetings as the moons go on. talking about clan life, loner life, the kittypets, the stars, the moon, the loner's name.....
oh, no.

and now i get to mention that, uh, Smoke and Autumn? are side characters, lol.

smoke's dreams are a callback to her old, old rp life, starting all the way back in 2017. she was a ~20 moon old deputy then, and she's still that now! she's been in quite a few rps, all with varying states of her leadership, but it's no big secret to anyone who's ever talked to me about her that i love, love smoke as leader. there's so much she gets to do! so i like throwing it in as a tidbit.
will she be a leader in Black Feathers? i guess only time will tell- aka, however i end up sharing the story, or if i do! for now... comfort art. i haven't even designed the 2020+ designs of the main characters, but these babies get art instantly... eheh, i see where my priorities lie!
