He can't wait too much longer, any second is one where a monster can catch his scent. But his fellow gatherer should have already been at the meeting point after fishing at the Hollow Sea.

A few nervous minutes later, a decision is made: he'll be heading back to the escave alone. It's not uncommon for a gathering party to come back from the surface with fewer numbers. And with an escave this young and fragile, he can't afford to investigate and risk the escave losing more members than they need to. That's what he tells himself anyways.

The entrance to this escave is a humble little hatch in the middle of a field. Despite its rather plain appearance, this curious structure can tell if someone belongs to the escave and will unlock itself only for them. With a glance to the sides to make sure that no monster is waiting for an opportunity, the Bokari pulls open the hatch, revealing a steep slope down into a dim tunnel. He descends into the hole, making extra sure to seal the hatch after. There is a distressing amount of stories where entrances were thoughtlessly left open, leading to the untimely end for the escave.
