Let's pretend I didn't fail a 7-day challenge on the seventh day because drawing every day made me burn out. Anyway, here's the last picture.Day Seven: Dancing.
We all like "The Answer", don't we? I think I can say it's one of my favourite episodes in the whole show. I adore the dancing scene because the background, the animation and the music create a simply magical atmosphere.
Here's the list the technics I used for every day of the challenge:
Day 1 - watercolours (colouring), pencil (background) and coloured pencils (lining and shading);
Day 2 - watercolours (colouring and lining), some white gouache and sparkling pearl gel;
Day 3 - watercolours (colouring) and a pencil (lining), added a photoshop filter;
Day 4 - a traditional animation coloured in photoshop;
Day 5 - coloured pencils (colouring), watercolours (lining), some white gouache;
Day 6 - watercolours (colouring), a black pen (lining), added a photoshop filter;
Day 7 - coloured pencils (colouring and lining), white gouache.
As you can see, I used the same materials almost every day yet I tried different ways of lining and colouring. In general, it was a lot of fun though it wasn't that easy to draw daily. Perhaps in the future I'll have another week challenge like this (which I won't fail, haha...).
