commandeering some inspiration from Armin (DA user nimra) and incorporating some elements in the background for a conceptual piece rather than just a portrait.
This piece is about finding one's way in life and the contemplation of that journey. To steal a line from my favorite movie, "We're not trying to find North are we?"
About the model: A very dear friend of mine who has been described as an embodiment of Homer Simpson. Its not often one sees the quieter side or hears his thoughts on life. He embraces life with wonder and challenges those around him to stretch themselves a bit so they can enjoy it too.
