if you ever got in a life or death situation where you needed to say "Yoshi" in sign language, well here's your life saver

So this semester, I'm learning American Sign Language! ASL
It's the second week I've been learning sign language and so far, I can introduce myself, say the alphabet, say yes and no, count to 20, say how I feel... y'know the basic stuff. I still have a long way to go... but the end of this semester I'll know English, Spanish, and ASL ^^

I'm a visual learner, so I'm picking up the language pretty well. However I think it will be even better practice to actually draw sign language.
Here's a tip: When you're signing... your dominant hand is the one doing all the moving ( I made Yoshi left handed in this sketch by accident lol)
The fun thing about sign language is that the language is not only in the hands, but in the facial expressions too... yeah so you'd better not have a stone cold face if you want to learn sign language lol. Plus this will be a good way for me to practice drawing hands and expressions

I'm gonna keep drawing pics like this as my ASL notes. They won't be super detailed or anything, but hey who knows... maybe you'll learn something form these little sketches.

It'd be cool if one day I could make a character who's fluent in sign language, and animate them! It's not something you see often...
