This is a quick messy sketch (not really sure why I am posting it). It's all from my head so I hope it makes sense lol. I may refine it and make it more presentable. But, I wasn't intending to create a masterpiece when I was sketching this. I know the proportions are off in certain areas. I wasn't trying to make it perfect this time (good to take a break sometimes), just trying to get the message across.

The center girl represents self-image. How people perceive her. She looks like your ordinary girl, and seems to be happy. But, when you look inside of her thoughts, you will see something completely different.

The girl with the ball chain hooked to her ankle (left). She is being dragged down with confusion. She is unsure which way she should go. To follow her dreams as she has been doing for so long, or to find false hope in her wants, her greed.

The flying "angel" represents those hopes and dreams she has, this is the path of innocence and compassion. Truth and honesty. The path that will take the most time, and may come with few rewards.

The "devil" creature represents the false hope, the lies that will bring her closer to the riches... this which comes with a price.

The girl laying down with the devil/angel over her (right). She represents compromise. The girl who picked both good and evil. The one who could not choose and was left without life. She is not sleeping, oh no... she has been captured in death, and all of the glory she wanted during her lifetime she now receives. What a cruel fate, for someone who worked so hard, but cheated the natural system. She is glorified and remembered, but she will not be able to rejoice in her success.
