Description
Extremophile: a microorganism that lives in conditions of extreme temperature, acidity, alkalinity, or chemical concentration.Based on the Riftia pachyptila, or giant tube worm. They live around black smokers, a kind of underwater volcanic vent.

Funny part is that I hadn't intended on finishing it off like this. It was just supposed to be a quick lineart or flats before heading out to the store. Then... it just kept going o_O
Right? xD I'm looking forward to the 31st since I'll be doing a sketch page all about this mer as a send off for MerMay. I want to try to explore a bit more of the community aspect since the tube worms usually come in dense groups.
