Ok WHOA WEIRD MOMENT HERE; unrelated to the drawing but....when I made the previous Lummyn reference, I did ( this) speed-painting a few hours later - like what's happening right now. c__c; CREEPY.But yea. This is another "speed-painting", surprisingly. I spent about 30-40 minutes sketching it (stupid legs took forever), so I gave myself the same amount of time to colour it. :] Really over-exaggerated the lighting, but oh well. I have a lamp to my lower right and the only other light is my computer screen.
Yes, that is a screenshot of my actual desktop (Dante & Nero <3) and I Google'd images for the Cheez-its and Mt.Dew bottle. lol. This was originally done to give an example of how busy I've been lately, but it kinda went off from there. But it's spot-on otherwise: my life is art, video-games, music and internet. Boyfriend also, but that would've been hard to pull off, lol.
The only "technicalities" would be - I DO NOT use sketchbooks, as a matter of a fact, I haven't for almost 4yrs now. I use a clipboard and cardstock, lol. And maybe that you should see my Wii or the controller somewhere too, aside from the PS2 one she's holding.

I love the effect of darkness of this pic, it really feels like a unlighted room ('cept for the TV) at night! I also enjoy how busy Sonar looks!

that is awesome, you gotta love feet that give you the ability to play games while you draw. I luff your feetz

It looks really really good, the dark shadows and dim lights are cool. Might want to sharpen the glow from the computer screen, if you're looking to change it at all. If not, it looks really good as it is.
