TTGL Fruity(Nia) [link]...I know it isn't the correct term for a sniper rifle...but I find that word "boomstick" so, so amusing. It's my word of the day!
Speedpaint in PS. Another attempt at stepping out of my comfort zone and experimenting with color, shapes, texture, and lineart (or lack thereof).
Big thanks to for helping me out with the leg poses. My indecisiveness hardly lets me get anywhere below the upper extremities.

Holy crap sorry for the late reply-looks like I somehow missed this message in my inbox otherwise I would've answered earlier. Better late than never, yah?
Anyways, this literally started out as some half-assed doodle I did on the corner of my notes during class. Then I scanned it into PS, played around with lines and color until I decided to settle with a more "blocky shapes" look. All totally done with tablet, except for the background, which I just used the shapes tool for. Thanks for asking, and again, sorry for the extremely delayed reply.

man! this is so much fantastic, it's bleeding out from my screen! haha^^ even though i haven't even watched gurren lagann, yokoht has always caught my eye. if anyone knows a badass chick, they know yoko. i love the style of this piece. the varying textures are really interesting to look at. and the pose is really dynamic too. and can anyone honestly resist a babe's hair swooping in the air in the midst of action?? you did an amazing job! simplicity at it's best^^
