Description
Wadis (the words translates to valley) in northern Oman are prone to flash flooding - sudden walls (literally!) of water, and over the years they have worn out this solid wall of compressed gravel. The contrast of an unclimable bluff on the one hand with a gentle slope covered in soft vegitation is stark yets feels so natural as to be unassuming.Shot 5 of 7 unedited images I took in April '05 in Wadi Qorai, in northern Oman on the border with the UAE.
