My second attempt to smudge, its made by a tutorial, I kinda dont like it tho, I feel like there is too much empty space and I did something wrong in the smudge xDRelated content

Hey! It's not bad at all for learning how to smudge! It takes a few compositions to really get the hang of it and heck, I'm still learning new things. I personally prefer the mixer brush over the smudge but I still use the smudge for a lot of things.
As for the open space try adding some textures or smoke. You could also add some dark foresty backgrounds!
