I don't even have slenderarms. I have atrocities in my drawings, so don't feel bad! We all have the weirdest imperfections in our work, and it can be funny too. It just makes the picture more you.

I don't understand how the arms are "slender"? Sure they're pretty skinny but they look to be the width of my skinny arms as well

That's what they were trying to do? I hears about the story before a bit, and they mentioned Slenderman, which I never got. Trust me, most twelve year olds have some common sense(at least enough to not stab someone to death for a made up monster).

I agree with Mr. Jack. Your art is fantastic, just tweak your placement. For that shot, her upper arms would be slightly more forward, and her hands slightly closer to her face.
But great job on taking the joke in stride. He has his own imperfections that he is quick to call out on his own, and truly only means to point out things in order for everyone to simply get better. I think that he more than likely feels that your skill is worth improving on, and can actually get much better.

I don't know if anyone has suggested this but I know I definitely have issues with weird limb placement when part of the limb is off the page. One helpful thing I do in order to make sure things are *ahem* in the right place is to extend the page either through an actual physical piece of paper laid underneath or by stimulating the act with my pencil as I'm drawing. That way I still draw the full limb and am able to estimate the logical position of the part that will actually be in the drawing.
Because otherwise everything is really lovely. For example, your hands are fantastic.

This is really beautiful, but I do agree that the arms are slightly off. It's nice to see that, rather than getting angry at the person that 'joked' about this piece, you've taken it in your stride.
By the way, they're really beautiful hands (so well drawn!)
